OAP Overview

The vision of the OPIN Apprentice Program (OAP) is to provide young adults with real-world experience and individualized personal development that complements and extends their academic degree program. The program enables college students to apply classroom knowledge in a real world business environment.  OAP is not just about adding experience to a resume or providing participants with a paycheck; it is about developing individual character, values and vision in young adults today who will make a difference. The goal is to provide a foundational experience that will empower individuals toward lives and careers that contribute to making the world a better place.  Apprentice will learn firsthand from successful executives, case studies, guest faculty and team projects as well as day-to-day on-the-job experience. A personal development track and individual mentor will help apprentice develop their own gifts and skills as well as enhance areas that need improving.

Great vision with out great people is irrelevant.  What makes a company successful is not the products, large markets, or even the technology.  In fact, the most important asset in a company is actually the people.  What qualifies young men and women for the OAP has more to do with individual character attributes and innate capabilities than with specific knowledge, background, or skills, which can be acquired with time.
