Vital Statistics:  Comprehensive audit trail

It logs all REVEAL system usage and provides detailed information about who uses which documents, how often, and in what way. PDF Dispatch™:  Large system PDF reports? Management made easy.
PDF Dispatch™ applies all of the report management and distribution functionalities found in REVEAL Enterprise to PDFs. Now organizations can capture and store PDFs (along with documents from any system) in the central Reveal repository and logically burst them with PinPoint security so that pertinent information contained in PDFs is securely distributed to workers throughout their enterprise.

End users can open the PDF in REVEAL executing its page-on-demand viewing to quickly access vital business information. PDFs can be displayed in either their original, graphically rich format, or in text format, depending on the user’s preference. Users can quickly toggle between views as desired. With all of the REVEAL features available in PDF Dispatch, users can search, export, download and print a PDF report – or only desired portions of a report – on demand.

Automated Archive and Retrieval:  Retain e-documents economically
Now you can economically retain documents and still easily access them when needed. Long-term corporate and legal storage requirements can be met, and since the process is automated, you and your staff need to provide little ongoing administrative support. After you decide how long specific documents should remain online, older document generations are automatically sent to off-line or near-line storage. Users may still retrieve archived documents as needed without operator intervention. Regardless of where the document currently resides, all its generations appear in the user's directory.

Report Release Manager:  Built-in check point for added security
This module helps ensure the accuracy and security of information being released throughout the enterprise. Report owners and/or designated quality assurance users will verify the accuracy of specified reports prior to releasing them for distribution to report recipients. Once a report is approved for release, REVEAL automatically distributes it to the appropriate users.

E-mail Notification:  Automatic Alert
E-mail Notification automatically sends email messages to REVEAL users when an awaited document is available. This e-mail contains an active hyperlink to the document that, when clicked, automatically launches REVEAL and opens the document.

Improved communication to your users improves relationships and their productivity. Because users are assured of being notified about available reports, they are not constantly calling your department or repeatedly checking the report list in REVEAL looking for expected reports.

Desktop Document Manager:  It's Not Just for Reports Anymore
Desktop Document Manager captures any desktop document such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, CAD, Visio and others and stores them into the REVEAL repository. Once in the repository, assigned users throughout the enterprise are notified when a new generation of the document is captured. These users can automatically access information without distributing multiple copies to everyone. This increases network efficiency, document security, and timeliness of information.

Managing the life cycle of desktop documents is made easy with the ability to automate the archival or purging of files by date, or by a certain number of generations online, with Desktop Document Manager.

Automatic Print Distribution:  Hard copy available when needed
Automatic Print Distribution generates hard copy printed reports for specific users each time a new document generation is available without IT intervention. Designated users receive printed copies of documents – or only those pages of the documents they are authorized to access – from their assigned printers.

The costs associated with producing the reports on expensive high-speed printers that require oversight and maintenance, and then paying the labor and shipping costs for operators to burst, package and send these reports are eliminated. Additionally, remote users requiring hard copy reports get critical information much faster and can act on it immediately rather than waiting days.

Text2Form:  What you see is what they got
TEXT2FORM is a module that enables customer service representatives to open and view documents in the same format delivered to the customer. When dealing with inquiries, they see the information exactly as the customer or supplier sees it, thus increasing their ability to quickly understand and resolve issues.

TEXT2FORM transforms text reports into graphical documents that become high quality output files to be electronically distributed, stored, or printed. Organizations leverage existing data housed in large textual reports by mapping it to electronic form templates created by their REVEAL Administrator. Once merged, data is enhanced with graphical images such as logos, barcodes, or boxes to create documents that can be sent to customers or suppliers or used by customer service representatives.

Report Adapter:  Content processed according to your needs
Report writing applications do not always produce the output needed for easy electronic report distribution. Report Adapter performs conversion and reformatting of incoming reports to the REVEAL Server at capture time to facilitate document management. For example, do you have concatenated reports that should be unbundled to facilitate downloads to Excel? Do certain reports require data normalization or de-normalization? Does report content need to be reviewed prior to release? Report Adapter automates these processes to provide a complete enterprise report distribution software solution for businesses. Since virtually every organization has its own unique reporting requirements, this module enables organizations to meet those needs.

PCL and DJDE Viewers

These modules provide full REVEAL functionality to PCL and DJDE files. PCL and DJDE files are captured, stored, burst, and distributed throughout the enterprise just as any other file. Users are able to see documents within the REVEAL viewer in their respective format, or the can be viewed in plain text. All formatting and graphical enhancements are retained.

Search results are quickly displayed because data is available in text format. Additionally, page-on-demand streaming - available because of text formatting - reduces network congestion. An organization who owns systems with this file-type output would benefit greatly from these capabilities.
