StatementIP:

Electronic access to commercial card statements

StatementIP is an online electronic bill presentment and payment system enabling credit card holders of financial institutions to receive, view and pay statements online through a secure Internet connection. Electronic statements remain available online for as long as the client prefers, allowing cardholders to download or print historical statements as needed. Financial institutions can drastically reduce invoice distribution costs, and improve customer relationships by providing the conveniences of online invoicing and payments.

StatementIP is currently in use by the world’s largest bank and second largest issuer of commercial credit cards as a cost saving alternative to their paper-based report and statement distribution processes. It compliments the capabilities of current commercial card processing services (TSYS, FDR, CTL, etc.), or integrates seamlessly with in-house systems. Cost savings can be realized even if commercial card processing is outsourced to another bank or other card processing software is used from multiple card processors.

Adopting an electronic method for your commercial card customers to view and pay invoices online provides them with time-saving conveniences and it saves you money. These documented cost savings can be up to $0.35 per bill delivered, and $2.00 per statement paid online. Additionally, this mode of electronic communication allows you to increase your own marketing opportunities. StatementIP streamlines bill presentment and shortens the payment process — a win-win for both you and your customers.

StatementIP accepts billing files in the client's legacy format(s), including TSYS SBF file format or FDR statement format, converts them to XML and can be viewed as image, HTML or PDF formats. Input file format independence is particularly attractive for banks using multiple card processors. Plus, XML files can also be downloaded into third-party applications for analysis or data-mining applications.
